Der Vortrag wurde in Englisch gehalten, was wohl der Grund war, warum ich nur wenige „Darsteller“ gesehen habe, der Vortragssaal aber trotzdem gut gefüllt war.
Zum Vortrag ist folgendes zu schreiben, er war lehrreich und unterhaltsam, Professor Byock ist ein Vortragender der es versteht sein Publikum zu fesseln. Er brachte uns nach Island und zur Ausgrabungsstätte und erzähle uns über das Wiederauffinden mit Hilfe der Egils Saga und eines alten Isländischen Bauers... das Wissen der Alten ist noch nicht verlorengegangen auf Island.
Die Ausgrabung ergab nicht nur die alte Kirche mit Friedhof sondern auch ein ca. 30 Meter langes Langhaus mit sehr interessanten Unterteilungen.
Alles in allem war die Zeit wie immer bei solchen Vorträgen zu kurz (eine Stunde) , aber das Ausklingen bei einem Glas Wein ergab noch interessante Gespräche.

Ich kann nur sagen, dass die welche, nicht anwesend waren etwas verpasst haben.
